Sought + Found Mercantile

I have some news.
Jeff and I have closed down all of our businesses and have decided to move out of the country. We are moving to France.
We looked at various countries in Europe (Italy was my first choice) but France won out because of ease of obtaining a long-term visa, warm climate, healthcare, and access to the rail system that connects to the rest of Europe.
We have sold or donated most everything that we own - and put some items into storage here in Atlanta. We have rented a temporary two bedroom furnished apartment in Perpignan (as we needed to have an address in order to obtain our visas) but once we arrive we will both look for where we want to settle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perpignan

No, you’re spending Mothers Day adjusting lighting in your new retail space with an extremely grumpy business partner!

Busy day here at Westside Market Midtown. Lots of folks shopping for Mother’s Day gifts.
We have also sold a few beds and sofas!

My business partner, Jeffrey Arnold, watches YouTube almost exclusively - commercial TV, streaming services, etc., holds no interest for him.
For over 2 years, Jeff has been watching videos put out by a couple that are restoring a 16th century French chateau in rural France - "The Chateau Diaries".
A few months ago, Jeff sent the couple a few items from our store that he thought that they would enjoy (and of course hoping that they would open during one of their videos). I told him he was nuts and that it was ridiculous to send our product for free PLUS the additional expense of international shipping - after all, no one but him watched those videos.
Yesterday afternoon, we started receiving a bunch of emails from Europe and the States telling us how much they loved the items that we sent to the chateau (!!!) - this was our first clue that the video was on YouTube.
Beginning late afternoon and going strong through the night and today, we have been getting orders for our pillows, trays, puzzles (all that are featured in the video) and other items that we have on our Shopify site https://www.soughtfoundmercantile.com/
I now have to apologize to Jeff for doubting him as apparently from the viewer count, thousands of people watch those videos. (I have only ever been wrong once before so this is difficult for me!)
We have sold more pillows in the last 18 hours than we have since the beginning of the year!
