Beautiful Early Victorian Gothic carved drawer.
Made clearly by a master carver out of one piece of wood.
Movers were nice enough to smash the pull and lose the pieces.
Had to fuse in a new piece and crave it back into a pull, * I am not a carver!
Couldnt be happier with the strength of the repair and blend!

A very challenging project for Ballantyne Hotel complete!
Repairing and refinishing the outer edge of 12, 8' long, formal serving tables, also cleaning, waxing and touching up the lower areas. The job had to be done onsite in 7 days which made it near impossible at moments along the way.
Isolating and protecting the marble and lower areas for the refinishing was a daunting, extremely time consuming process.
Thanks so much to the wonderful and genuinely pleasant staff, Christopher and Marty for accommodating me and working with me through the entire process.

Gustav Stickley Buffet.
Its an honor and a privilege to be working on this buffet made by Gustav Stickley himself, a legend and the godfather of the arts and crafts movement many say.
Before I picked this up, I had only seen his work in person at the Smithsonian and Henry Ford Museums.
Extensive veneer repair and reseating as well as replacing a few missing/damaged veneer areas.
Stay tuned...
