SLM was recently tasked with repairing and refinishing the conference table for FedEx’s pilots war room. The table is approximately 70 years old and was built for The Flying Tigers headquarters in Los Angeles in the early fifties. The Flying Tigers were the first commercial aviation cargo hauler in the United States and FedEx purchased them in 1988 which is when the table arrived in Memphis. At 10 ft x 20 ft this beauty is a beast weighing at roughly 1200lbs. We think she looks great and is ready for another 70 years of service
