Our Story

The Poltrona Frau Group Miami Flagship Showroom opened its doors in Miami’s esteemed Design District in December 2011, making it the Group’s first and largest showroom in the US, and the largest and most diverse luxury furniture showroom in all of North America.

With more than a century of experience in the high-end furniture arena, the Poltrona Frau name has come to represent the pinnacle of design and elegance in Italian-made products. The Poltrona Frau Group carries on this legacy, bringing the world’s most coveted furnishings brands — Poltrona Frau, Alias, and Nemo Lighting, — together under one label. Over the years, these brands have passed down their sophisticated expertise in handcrafted workmanship through master craftsmen, and collaborated with the world’s most renowned designers to combine functionality with beautiful, eclectic décor options. The Poltrona Frau Group Miami Showroom plays host to the entire line of the Poltrona Frau Group’s distinctive yet complementary brands‚ as well as luxury Italian bathroom fixture producer Ceramica Flaminia, and is the exclusive dealer for Gaetano Pesce “Fish Design” accessories. This comprehensive collection makes the showroom an unparalleled resource for design-driven pieces ranging from indoor and outdoor home and office furnishings to lighting, bath ceramics and fixtures, as well as custom, special projects designs and solutions for restaurants, hotels, museums, retailers, concert halls, yachts, and more.

Housed in a geometrically daring, 27,000-plus sq. ft. building, the two-story flagship showroom features boldly colored, dramatically angled exterior accents and a stunning rooftop terrace. In addition to the extensive Poltrona Frau Group offerings, the space includes a carefully selected collection of unique jewelry and accessories by Gaetano Pesce, hand-decorated Mendinismi vases by Alessandro Mendini, as well as NativoCampana, a collection of handmade vases and baskets made of resin, wood, leather and natural fibers, created in collaboration between Corsi Design Factory and revered Brazilian design duo, Fernando and Humberto Campana.

The design concept for the multi-million dollar showroom comes from Poltrona Frau Group Miami Principal Giampiero Di Persia, in coordination with famed Cuban-born, Miami-based architect Albert R. Poza. Design legend Giulio Cappellini oversaw the showroom’s interior design.
