In San Clemente, California, the waves at Trestles are among the most perfect in the world.
It was in pursuit of these waves that Filipe Toledo and Ananda Marçal Toledo moved with his family in 2014, and it is there that the two-time world surfing champion returns to rest between stops on the tour.
The veranda was born from a long-held dream of his and Nanda’s: to have a space to host friends and celebrate with family.
The project was developed in collaboration with Tidelli and drew inspiration from the light, airy tones of Tulum. The ropes were selected in three colors—café au lait, chocolate, and sand—because, in a surfer’s home, sand is an essential element. Coa and Marina were given a little corner of their own, featuring a table and chairs perfectly sized for them.
