Reinaldo and Katalina arrived with a trove of Colombian artwork, family heirlooms, and enough books to fill a library. The apartment had to be built around all of it. That bookcase running the length of the wall became the spine, and every room took its cue from one important piece or several. A painstakingly created foil with room to party.

We spend a lot of time thinking about how pieces talk to each other in a room. Here, the tribal rug set the tone, and everything else followed. The warm wood of the Verellen sofa, the sculptural Baker coffee table we were lucky enough to source before it was discontinued, and a Garde side table that quietly holds its own. When a room lands like this, we feel it.
