Borrowing inspiration from some of our favorite stone forward kitchens and bars lately. Sculpted islands, soft curves, statement slabs, and warm timber and metals. This is our type of contemporary design.

Six beds, zero compromise.

For this custom bunk room, our client asked for a space that could sleep a crowd but still feel like a serene suite—so we designed individual “cabins” instead of traditional bunks. Each bed gets its own reading light, power, and curtain, giving guests that cozy, tucked away feel while still sharing one generous, social space.

Layered white oak, woven closet doors, and a calm sand and sage palette keep the room feeling elevated and airy rather than “kids camp.” The wide central staircase doubles as a sculptural feature and makes the upper bunks feel like a mezzanine level, not an afterthought.

We’re imagining this room filled with cousins after a ski day, or adults using it as a luxury crash pad for a long weekend. Would you claim a top bunk or a bottom?
