What a difference a week makes! 🔥

A big transformation on the exterior of our shop and showroom. We rebuilt sections of the exterior walls, added our own locally milled urban ash with a Yakisugi (Shou Sugi Ban) finish, and tied it all together with a fresh coat of paint.

A little hard work, a little creativity, and a whole lot of urban wood. We’re making this space feel more like us and creating a better place to welcome customers, showcase our work, and share what The Urban Craftsman is all about.

Still a work in progress, but we’re getting there. More to come! 🌳🪵

With the grand opening of il ponte tomorrow we’d love to share what we’ve been working on. 38 urban white oak tables and 4 urban elm tables. We also rebuilt, engraved and stained a previously used table to make it look like walnut (it’s pine). We topped it off with a 5’ long custom made urban hard maple noodle board for making their absolutely delicious pasta on. Congrats on an amazing new addition to Milwaukee!
