Why Christians Should Build Cathedrals There is nothing vainglorious about giving glory to God with the best works of our minds and our hands.

It's not just kitchen cabinets, vanities, or historic restorations. We also build sets for corporate training videos. All of the cabinets fold down for transport. The walls disassemble. Everything will be packed into crates and used again.

I think one of my favorite parts of doing what we do is having the opportunity to work on Historic Landmarks, especially here in Milwaukee. Here is the entry door from Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery. I really enjoy visiting there as often as possible, not only to enjoy an ice-cold Pabst or Schlitz, but it is like stepping back in time and reminiscent of my childhood going on brewery tours with family and friends. I highly recommend taking a history tour or stopping by their coffee shop any chance you can.

We brought the door back to the shop and glued all the loose joints. Made repairs where necessary and even cleaned off years of debris off the unique metal artwork that was installed in each of the window openings. The lock got re-worked by a local locksmith and a pane of glass replaced. The glass isn't made anymore, so a trip to a local stain glass studio was necessary. Jim and Karen have done such an outstanding job of protecting and preserving Best Place and I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of it. I am definitely looking forward to the next project there.

It's been a while since I've posted anything here. It remains busy, and for that I am truly thankful. Facebook tells me I need to share something with you all, so I figured I'd give a little blip into what's happening at the shop currently. I was fortunate enough this morning and early afternoon to visit VMP Healthcare & Community Living. They were kind enough to listen to me talk about the work we're blessed to do at Trinity Milwaukee.
