A special nursery transformation 🩵

This vintage dresser was a labor of love! After removing about five layers of blue paint, plus lots of stripping, sanding and prep, it finally got a fresh new look.

Refinished for a sweet friend who is expecting a baby boy, with a soft blue-gray finish, natural washed wood drawer fronts, and the beautiful original hardware.

From dark and dated to soft and timeless—ready for a brand-new chapter in his nursery. 🩵

✨ BEFORE & AFTER ✨

What a transformation! These matching nightstands went from heavily distressed and dated to clean, classic, and sophisticated.

I gave them a fresh creamy neutral finish, cleaned up all of the heavy distressing, and finished them with warm brass hardware for just the right amount of contrast. I love that they still have their original character, but now they feel completely updated and could work with so many decorating styles.

The chairs and table base were painted in a soft off-white, and the tabletop was sanded and refinished with a warm natural stain to highlight the beautiful wood grain. The combination gives it a coastal yet modern look.

I love how this transformation turned a traditional set into something fresh and updated! 🤍
