His favorite local spots are Home Slice and The Distillery, and his go-to music is a country/rap mashup!

Meet the Team: Nick Langenderfer 👋

Nick has officially been part of The Countertop Shop team for 15 years — but unofficially, as part of the family business, he’s been around it his whole life! 💙

His favorite part of the job is getting out to jobsites, meeting homeowners, and being part of their projects. From small bathroom remodels to forever homes, Nick loves that every job has a different story.

When it comes to countertops, he’ll almost always choose natural stone because every slab is truly one of a kind. He also enjoys the dimensional and design side of putting together quotes — although he admits you probably shouldn’t trust him to polish a piece of stone. 😂

Outside of work, Nick enjoys being a dad, coaching basketball, finding a good patio, and listening to Forrest Frank.

We’d describe Nick as dedicated, personable, and detail-oriented, and we’re glad to have him as part of the TCS team! 💙

Stay tuned as we introduce more of the people behind The Countertop Shop!

Meet the Team: Greg Schneider 👋

Greg has been part of The Countertop Shop team for 5 years, but his experience in the countertop industry goes all the way back to the 1970s! One of his favorite parts of the job is getting to meet new people, and when it comes to countertops, he’s drawn to high-movement natural stones with bold patterns and strong visual flow. ✨

Outside of work, Greg loves to cook and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and watching movies. His ideal lazy Sunday might include breakfast at Dino’s, and his playlist is usually a mix of classic rock and country. 🎶

And if you have some extra time on your hands, ask Greg about conspiracy theories — he could talk about them for hours. 😂

Asked to describe himself in three words, Greg says: “simple but complicated.”

We’re glad to have Greg and his decades of industry experience on the TCS team! 💙

Stay tuned as we introduce more of the people behind The Countertop Shop!
