Hello friends and neighbors. It’s been a long time since interacting with you all. Kyle and John filled in for me since February and I’m thankful for that. My dad was diagnosed with cancer and fought a good battle. He passed away in May and is now in Heaven.
Kyle and John have moved on to their own shop and I look forward to seeing their work.
I’m slower but I’m ready to get back to woodworking. I’m creating an outdoor table and benches in multiple sizes. Let me know if you have any interest in one for home. I turn the legs from a pressure treated 6X6. The bench legs from pressure treated 4X4. Al wood is pressure treated to last for many many years.
Thanks
Sb

Sofa table is about done. Have some sanding. And may need to tweak the leg formation but it is a nice piece.

Haven’t been very consistent with our post lately. We have been busy though. We’re in the middle of a sofa table, a 12’ table, some benches and chairs, and a table to conceal a dog crate. Here’s some of the progress.

Midweek update: will post pictures tomorrow. I made a video but it did a slow mo thing and got weird. Lol.
But, we’ve glued up the 12’ top. Stained the ash benches and got the Adirondack chairs all assembled.
We also got the kids table refinished and will get a clear coat on it tomorrow and re assemble it.

Stacey was in the shop with us today. He turned this beautiful walnut candlestick holder.

Our stump table finally went home. This table was a collaborative effort between the shop and our customers. They had some issues with a previous company taking their order, and we were happy to help.
This was something different than we have done in the past and we had a few setbacks. John was injured when we tried to route the top, that same top wasn’t properly dried and ended up bowing up on us. So for round two we used some beautiful oak that seems to perfectly match our customers beautiful wood floor. Overall we are very pleased with this table and our customers were very happy with it as well. They had to go about 9 months without a dining table. Now they have a talking point, as well as a place to enjoy meals with a stunning view.
Helping our family with their kitchen remodel. They had already don’t what seemed like most of the demo work. These older homes are built different, that’s for sure.
