📣 IMPORTANT UPDATE: MAMMOGRAM EVENT RESCHEDULED 💗

Due to unforeseen repairs needed for the Mercy Health Mobile Mammography Unit, all upcoming mobile mammography events are being rescheduled.

The unit will be undergoing necessary repairs, including new tires and a new generator, to ensure it is safe and ready to serve our community.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding! 💕 We are working with Mercy Health to determine a new date for our Mammogram Montpelier event and will share the updated date and details as soon as they are available.

If you were planning to attend, please stay tuned for the new date! We look forward to welcoming the Mobile Mammography Unit to Peltcs Lumber Co. and helping make breast health screenings more accessible to our community. 🎀

🎓🚂Graduate Spotlight: Griffin Cooley 🚂🎓

Please help us congratulate one last Peltcs Lumber crew member Griffin Cooley, a 2026 graduate of Montpelier High School!🎉

During his senior year, Griffin balanced📚academics,🏈🏀athletics👟⚾, and work responsibilities while contributing to the team at Peltcs Lumber Co. He is a hard working, year round athlete & his work ethic never went unnoticed - we were fortunate to have him as part of our crew. Griffin's favorite thing about working at Peltcs was the great group of guys he had the opportunity to work alongside.

Griff is the son of Brian and Bess Cooley and has an older brother, Bryce (& wife, Lindsey & niece, Brynn), & a younger sister, Joss.

🎓🌟Congratulations, Ethan "Hurricane" Walz! 🌟🎓

Today, we're proud to celebrate a tremendous accomplishment for one of our own, Ethan Walz! 🎉

Over the past nearly two years, Ethan—better known around Peltcs Lumber Co. as 🌊"Hurricane" 🌊—has balanced work, classes, and athletics while becoming a valued member of our team. We are excited to congratulate him on earning both his high school diploma from Montpelier High School and his Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering!

As I did with Rowdog, I also asked Ethan some simple questions to let people get a better insight on this great kid!

During his time at Montpelier🚂 , Ethan's favorite class was Machine Design, and his favorite teacher was his mom, Wendy Walz. One of his favorite school memories was making it to Regionals in cross country alongside his teammates and coaches. 🏃‍♂️🥈

At Peltcs, Ethan's favorite part of the job has been time with his coworkers and the many "regulars" he's gotten to know along the way. We've enjoyed watching Ethan grow and mature over the last couple of years. He has always been willing to learn & is not afraid of physical labor. 💪

As if graduating HS with an Associate's wasn't exciting enough, Ethan is also getting married this summer! 💍⛪ It's fun watching him light up talking about his future wife & their plans!

Ethan has recently started his career with ⚙Martin Sprocket & Gear⚙ while continuing his education by pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Miami University.

🎓Congratulations, Rowen! 🎓

Today we’re celebrating a huge accomplishment for one of our own — Rowen Beck has officially graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Adolescent & Young Adult Education, specializing in Social Studies! 👏📚

Not only are we celebrating his graduation, but tomorrow also marks Rowen’s 4-year work anniversary with Peltcs Lumber Co.!

I asked Rowen a few questions for fun! I wanted to know some random stuff about him!😎 Rowen's favorite music genre is 80’s rock🎸, his favorite movie is Superbad😂, and his dream vacation is Switzerland! If he could have dinner with any historical figure, he’d choose JFK.🏛

Many of us know Rowen by his nicknames around Peltcs — Row, Rowdog, and HIS personal favorite, Black Panther! 🖤😎
Over the years, Rowen has become such an important part of our team. Whether he’s taking charge of the yard, helping customers inside, or jumping in wherever needed, he’s always busy and always willing to work hard. Every day brings something new, and according to Rowen, that’s exactly what he loves most about working at Peltcs — “the job is freeing & not monotonous!”

Rowen graduated from MHS in 2020 and is the same age as our daughter, Halie, which makes watching his growth and accomplishments over the years even more special.

A huge shoutout goes to the amazing people who have supported him along the way — especially his girlfriend, Tristen Bexten, and his Grandma Pat, who we all know and love. 💙

We are incredibly proud of Rowen and everything he has accomplished so far. We know he will continue to do great things in the future.
