Come along our incredible weekend at High Point Market! The takeaway: we’re ready for a little more personality. 👏
Color and pattern are continuing to grow, and for Utah especially, I see dark sage and olive greens, deep plums, and rich rust tones finding their way into our homes.
There’s also a return to traditional patterns with two distinct moods: menswear-inspired plaids, houndstooth, and pinstripes in substantial wools and textured fabrics, alongside small florals, dainty dots, and delicate stripes in lighter cottons and linens.
And the details! Fringe, trims, carved wood, and moldings bring interest without screaming for attention.
What I love about this direction is how timeless it can feel. These colors and patterns are familiar and comforting, but feel fresh after years of gray and beige. You can embrace them in a way that still feels like you—and feels right for years.
My prediction? Deep, beautiful color. Intentionally placed pattern. Thoughtful details. Homes with more life, comfort, and personality.
Which are you ready to bring home: the color, the pattern, or the details?
