Did this one for a client who specifically asked for it to be painted and then distressed. This was a super fun project and it turned out amazing!

52” round dining table by Stanley Furniture Co. It was fun to try some new techniques on this piece and I’m thrilled with the results! The top was given a beautiful new wood grain finish using Retique It Liquid Wood. 😍 The base and chairs were painted General Finishes Milk Paint in Snow White. Chairs were reupholstered with a neutral linen fabric that will match with any decor.

This was a fun commissioned piece. The original was utterly destroyed, but the had good bones. The horrible paint was removed and revealed a beautiful top that was able to be stained. Unfortunately, the base contained quite a bit of damaged veneer, and had to be painted. The client picked a deep teal, and General Finishes Blue Moon was a perfect match. Lastly, the base was removed and new legs were added.

SOLD!

This rare, beautiful solid oak quartersawn dining table has been meticulously restored to its original beauty!

Hastings Table Company was located in Hastings, Michigan and operated in the early 1900s. It was one of the premier furniture companies that was noted for their fine tables. A fully restored table from this company can go for around $2500 from an antique dealer.

This particular oak table contains hand selected quartersawn oak on the top and a hand carved pie crust edging along the sides. The legs have hand carved scroll feet with casters and wooden wheels. This is a unique split pedestal table but unfortunately contains no leaves.

The top has been completely restored to remove all scratches and blemishes. The original hardware for locking the table top is still in excellent working order.

48” diameter

I’m in love with these chairs! They’re solid wood jury chairs from the early 1900s that have been given a modern look. The black and raw wood combo is beautiful.

Custom refinish! I’ve been dying to try this Pottery Barn dupe finish and I finally got a chance to do it! I started with a beige wash and then dry brushed some walnut stain to darken the grain and add some cool texture to the wood. Finally, the original hardware was painted a flat black. I’m really happy with how it turned out!

What a cute little makeover for the daughter of our good friend! This vanity belonged to mom and now she is passing it to the next generation. It is painted General Finishes Snow White, with new flat black hardware. The stool was reupholstered in a cute grey striped stain resistant fabric to help it to look great for years to come!

I’ve started dabbling into reupholstering. I did this one for myself. Left is old, and right is new.

This one 😍
A client found this on the side of the road and wanted to give it a new life. After cleaning it up and sanding away all the dents, a gorgeous wood grain appeared!! We decided to paint the base with General Finishes Lamp Black and then stain the top and drawer fronts with a custom mix of Dark Walnut and Classic Grey. The hardware was painted a flat black and I topped it off with a drawer liners to add a bit of glam.

Quick refinish for my daughter! When her favorite restaurant was giving away old chairs, she asked me to make it her favorite color, yellow, so she can use it at her vanity in her bedroom. I painted it General Finishes Harvst Yellow and painted the vinyl seat flat black.
