He Would Have Been 87 ❤️

This Saturday, we’re opening the doors of our downtown gallery for a little gathering in honor of George Olivier.

We’d love for our friends, longtime customers, and anyone who knew George to stop by, visit awhile, and help us celebrate his life.

Come share a memory, tell a funny story, or remind us of one of those George moments that still makes you smile. If you knew him, you probably have a story or two!

There will be plenty of time for visiting, reminiscing, a few laughs, and remembering a man whose craftsmanship and personality left their mark on so many people.

No formal program, no need to bring anything—just come as you are. Whether you can stay awhile or only stop in for a few minutes, we’d love to see you.

Saturday, October 31
1–4 p.m.
Olivier Woodworks Downtown Gallery
744 Front Street
Natchitoches

Let’s celebrate George the best way we can: together, with good stories, warm memories, and a little laughter.

We hope you’ll stop by. ❤️

💕 Fridays delivery was a long time in the making… and it’s a story worth sharing!

Let me explain. 😊

Carol told me she had walked past our downtown gates many times over the years, but they were always closed. Then, last December, she told her sister and brother-in-law, “Let’s go to Natchitoches for the Christmas Festival!”

Not fully knowing what they were getting into, they made the trip, watched the parade, enjoyed a meat pie, and strolled through our downtown shops. And to Carol’s delight… our gates were open! ❤️

We visited, they looked around, and she told me she would be back.

Well, a few months passed, and when the time was right, Carol reached out and scheduled a visit. Friday, that story came full circle with a special delivery of her beautiful new furniture!

Carol is now the proud owner of several special pieces, each handcrafted with the care, character, and tradition that make Olivier Woodworks what it is. Even more special, she’s now part of the Olivier Woodworks family! 🪵❤️

Stories like Carol’s remind us that sometimes the best things are worth waiting for. We’re so grateful she found her way through our gates and allowed us to be part of her home.

Thank you, Carol, for choosing handcrafted Louisiana cypress furniture and for becoming part of our story. We can’t wait to see these pieces become part of yours!

💕 From our workshop to your home, one special connection at a time.
