It depends on why you're looking for. Latex mattresses can have a very different feel from traditional memory foam.

They're generally more responsive, so you don't get that deep " stuck in the mattress" feeling some people experience with memory foam.

Latex can also be a good option for people who like more buoyant feel.

But that doesn't mean latex is automatically the right mattress for everyone.

The best mattress material is the one that gives YOUR body the support and comfort you need.

Not necessarily.
The word "pillow-top" by itself doesn't tell you how well a mattress is going to hold up.
What's underneath that comfort layer matters too - the materials, construction, support system and overall quality of the mattress.

A softer mattress can also show some normal body impressions sooner simply because your sinking farther into comfort layers.
That's why we don't recommend choosing a mattress based on one feature or one word on the tag.

Look at the WHOLE MATTRESS.
And most importantly, make sure if feels right for YOU.

This place was such a breathe of fresh air! We have been mattress shopping for a while, now these mattresses are just "different" and hand made. The customers service was phenomenal and extremely pleasant. We purchased the TXL medipedic firm with the two adjustable bases (so myt husband and I don't fight about sitting up vs laying down). The mattress has a 20 yr warranty. We have been struggling to sleep for a least 7 months now and I can't wait to sleep soon! Go see them!

Ever look at your mattress and think:
"Is that a normal body impression, or is something actually wrong with my mattress?"

There's a difference.

Some mattresses will develop slight impressions where you sleep. That's not automatically a defect.

But a significant or abnormal sag can be a different story.

The important think is knowing what the warranty is for the mattress and what measurements or conditions they require.

Sometimes that little "dip " that is a body impression is normal, which is under
1 1/2".

The typical universal standard that classifies as a "dip" defect is more than 1 1/2" or more.

A mattress warranty isn't necessarily a guarantee that you'll love the mattress forever.
Warranties generally deal with things like certain manufacturing defects or structural problems.

That's why we always recommend knowing what you're buying and and what the warranty covers before you make a decision.
