Some of you may know that Love Is The Assignment Incorporated has carried a vision to build a community resource center. What I’m learning is that sometimes the vision God gives you isn’t for you to build from the ground up, but for you to serve within something He has already established.

Today was an incredible day volunteering at Trinity River Food Pantry, in partnership with the Houston Food Bank right here in our community.

This pantry provides more than just non-perishable food items. They also offer valuable programs like GED classes and English courses, helping families build stronger futures right in our own backyard.

If your family—or someone you know—could benefit from these resources, I encourage you to reach out and take advantage of these services. And if you have a few hours to give, please consider volunteering. Your time can make a real difference, and they are always grateful for extra helping hands.

Being here, serving, and witnessing the impact that’s already taking place in our community has been a powerful reminder that purpose isn’t always about ownership—it’s about obedience and service.
