Around 1991 and 1992, almost 1000 square feet was added to the footprint of the house by Mayor Morial. an updated kitchen along with a great room and a new upstairs master bedroom was added. The house and the grounds are available for film,video and still photography location shooting. While Mayor morial was in office, the house was the scene for several political advertisement and lately (2012) the scene for a misic video by local band Meta the Man.
