Staying close to those helping shape contemporary design also means being present where ideas meet, are challenged and take form.

On October 15, Moroso met the Chinese design community in Foshan for a special event in partnership with FRAME Awards , bringing together local designers and professionals for an evening dedicated to dialogue and connection.

An opportunity to strengthen relationships with those working at the forefront of design culture, and to continue a conversation that has always been central to the way Moroso looks at the world.

In Cuadra-Soft Edge, the textile does not arrive at the end of the project.
The tone-on-tone edging becomes one of the details that defines the character of the sofa and changes with the upholstery, allowing the same architecture to take on very different identities.

It is a very Moroso way of approaching design: letting material change the way a form is perceived.

In Redondo, the quilted pattern gives the textile its own structure.
Designed by Patricia Urquiola, it follows the volume of the armchair and changes the way the surface catches light, creating depth without adding anything superfluous.

A detail that belongs to the fabric as much as to the form and one of the reasons Redondo is recognisable at first glance.

The garden room at Villa W is more than an interior overlooking the greenery. It is the point where the house shifts in tone, becoming more informal and more closely connected to the landscape.

Here, Graziosi Progetti, Office for Architecture & Design and Contempera chose our Redondo armchair. Its continuous, soft and recognisable form brings a more intimate and sensory quality to a space otherwise defined by transparency and openness.

At Villa W, the living room is shaped by long perspectives, precise architecture and a calm sense of continuity.

Within this setting, Graziosi Progetti, Office for Architecture & Design and Contempera selected the Gogan Sofa and Gogan Armchairs to introduce a different spatial quality: lower, fuller volumes with a more tactile presence.

Inspired by stones softened over time by water, Gogan brings a sense of weight, softness and natural irregularity into the room. Its forms give the living area a more physical rhythm, adding depth to an architecture defined by clarity and openness.

There is no universal way of sitting well.

Me-Time proposes an immersive experience: the body sinks into a generous cushion, surrounded by materials chosen to reinforce that sense of softness.

Cuadra-Soft leaves more room to the individual, using elasticity and differentiated densities to respond to different weights, postures and habits.

Comfort, here, is less a standard than a relationship.

Comfort is one of those things we perceive instantly, even when its construction remains invisible.

In Me-Time, softness is developed as a material language: padding and textiles work together to create a seat that yields, surrounds and holds.

Cuadra-Soft relies on an engineered balance, where belts, structure and layered densities determine the exact response of the seat.

A sofa can begin from its structure, or from the sensation it wants to create.

Me-Time starts from the seat itself. The cushion carries most of the project’s idea of comfort, through its proportions, internal composition and the relationship with the textiles selected for its upholstery.

Cuadra-Soft is built from the inside out: suspension, densities and structural elements are calibrated first, while fabric becomes the layer through which its character can continuously change.

Two different design logics, both made visible only when someone sits down.
