Some before and after of the restoration of a 19th century Louis Phillipe style
commode. Both sides were badly cracked.
We were able to save the original wood and touch up, then a new coat of shellac by hand.

The high oil content makes this wood naturally water resistant. Incredibly durable.

Complete redo of this piece. It was in poor shape and brought back to like new condition. Alcohol stain really has a way to showcase the beautiful grain on antiques.

Sometimes (rarely) we make time for a personal project. This table and chairs were just redone, we cut the table top to fit our space, created our custom stain and rerouted the cut edge, a fresh new look for years to come.

The legs of this table were scratched by the cat beyond belief. After patching and touching up they look brand new. Oh and we also refinished the top of this table after filling the narrow grooves so food would never get caught in it again !

Just restored this piece to its original look. We always love seeing the look of the customer when they discover the finish product.
