Milled up some nice ambrosia maple today. Gosh I can’t get enough of this stuff. I’ll probably make a desk or something out of this one when it comes out of the kiln.

Stone is wood right?

Milled up some hickory to stash away after cutting up a bunch of ash. Also cut some sassafrass to set aside. A little air drying before going into the kiln.

More ash, harvested from a local farm. Found this little prize inside one of the logs. Either they missed or it went straight through and into the tree.

Ash is very beautiful wood. Sadly it’s almost gone from our landscape 😢
