SOLID POLY FAUX WOOD SHUTTERS NEW PROGRAM.
This product is SUPERIOR to both wood shutters and hollow vinyl shutters. You can do a single panel 36" wide and 74" long WITHOUT a divider rail. SOLID POLY Faux Wood Shutters insulate as much as 65% MORE than a wood shutter.

SOLID POLY Faux Wood Shutters have the appearance and feel of wood but are fire retardant, moisture proof, antimicrobial and are guaranteed to never crack, fade, peel or warp.
Uses proprietary PVC material and manufactured with a co-extrusion process that provides structural integrity and durability.
Shutters louvers are fully extruded and reinforced allowing for a much larger panel size and available in 2 ½”, 3 ½” or 4 ½” louvers.

Federal Tax Credit Ends December 31

The Federal Tax Credit for qualifying energy-efficient window treatments ends on December 31. Consumers can still take advantage of savings of up to 30% of the product cost, up to $1,200! Encourage them to purchase before the deadline to maximize this limited-time
opportunity and help drive year-end sales.

Hunter Douglas Motorization & Automation Updates.
C-Size Satellite Battery Wand Discontinuation.
Effective November 4, 2025, the C-Size Satellite Battery Wand will be permanently discontinued. This is a power supply option for shades with PowerView® Automation and SoftTouch® Motorization.
Customers can continue to order this power supply option through the end of October. As of Nov. 4, this power source will no longer be an option for orders with shades. Existing inventory will be available from Parts for warranty replacement or sale, while supplies last. Once obsolete, an alternate battery power supply can be offered as a replacement.

New Clear Universal Chain Tensioner
Effective immediately, Hunter Douglas Architectural ad pots a new Clear color option for the Universal Cord Tensioner. The Clear UCT is the default color for all applicable orders, with the option to override to Grey, White or Black if needed. All repairs and remakes will utilize the UCT color from the original order, based on the color selection at the time of entry.

Hunter Douglas Swivel Charger for Stacking IRB Shades

A special swivel charger adapter is now available for recessed Duette® & Applause® Honeycomb Shades and Vignette® Modern Roman Stacking Shades with an Internal Rechargeable Battery (IRB).

However, in some recessed applications, inside-mounted stacking flush or sub-flush Duette, Applause, or Vignette PowerView shades, there may be interference from the window jamb when attempting to charge. This interference could prevent the charging adapter from fully connecting to the charging port on the shade.

A low-profile swivel charging adapter is now available for recessed Duette® & Applause® Honeycomb Shades and Vignette® Modern Roman Stacking Shades with an Internal Rechargeable Battery (IRB).
A limited run of the new low-profile swivel charging adapter, available to order from now.

The long-term solution includes a redesigned swivel charging adapter to ensure all IRB installation scenarios are possible. Hunter Douglas anticipate launching the redesigned swivel charging adapter this fall to replace both the existing swivel charging adapter and low-profile charging adapter.

All products equipped with the internal rechargeable battery are shipped fully charged, so any stacking IRB products that are installed inside mount and recessed will not need to be charged for approximately one year after installation. The new adapter will be available before any stacking IRB shades in the field require charging.
