Your plates don’t match? Even better! Cortney shares how she mixes plates collected from all over and brings them together at the table.
The Novogratz
Husband and wife design duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz have designed and developed many unique properties in Manhattan, L.A., and beyond.
For over 25 years, this fun, hip, artsy couple has rebuilt entire city blocks from the ground up and transformed them into fabulous spaces. After living and working in New York City for the majority of their lives, the Novogratz have moved their family and business to Los Angeles. They're loving every minute of what this new city has to offer.
We can’t imagine a New York summer without a trip to Coney Island. Our family has been going there for decades and there’s nothing like it. What’s your summer tradition?

Stripes are in! Not that they ever really went anywhere.
We had way too much fun playing with color for our new Icon Rugs with Momeni Rugs, and clearly we couldn’t pick just one.
Which one are you taking home?

We’ve been quietly working on a townhouse on the Upper West Side for some longtime clients and friends, slowly giving the house a little Novogratz love, one room at a time.
Next up, the bathrooms. Right now they’re about as bare bones as it gets. Stripped walls, floors and fixtures, and a completely blank canvas to work with. We’re taking you behind the scenes for a little peek before we start putting it all back together.
We love this part of the process. So many possibilities!

You can always feel when summer is starting to wind down. The evenings are getting a little cooler here in the Berkshires, but we’re still spending as much time outside as we can.
We’re not ready to give up bare feet, afternoons by the pool, and long summer days just yet.
Our new striped Icon rugs have been outside with us all summer. Shop the collection at the link in bio.
People are always asking about the many objects we’ve collected in our home over the years. So many of them have incredible stories and memories tied to them.
We found this old carousel motorcycle at a flea market in Paris many years ago, and it has traveled with us ever since. It’s become one of those pieces that holds a special place in the heart of our family, a little reminder of where we’ve been and the life we’ve built along the way.
