The Novogratz

Husband and wife design duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz have designed and developed many unique properties in Manhattan, L.A., and beyond.

For over 25 years, this fun, hip, artsy couple has rebuilt entire city blocks from the ground up and transformed them into fabulous spaces. After living and working in New York City for the majority of their lives, the Novogratz have moved their family and business to Los Angeles. They're loving every minute of what this new city has to offer.

A little garden trick from Cortney! She loves her hydrangeas and hates to see them go at the end of the season. Luckily, drying them couldn’t be easier, and it’s a great way to enjoy those beautiful blooms all year long!

We love lighting that makes you smile! Take our Morel Lamp, for example. Who knew a mushroom could make such a great lamp? What we do isn’t easy. Building, renovating, designing… it’s hard work. We couldn’t imagine our lives any other way, but we certainly didn’t learn things the easy way. Elbow grease and passion got us where we are today, and we’re endlessly grateful for the life we’ve built.

Every once in a while, you meet a photographer who knows exactly how to capture both the passion and the grit behind it all. Guy Aroch has a way of bringing those two worlds together so beautifully.
