Happy Mother’s Day! We wish you a peaceful and celebratory day. Spending meaningful time together on Mother’s Day is also an opportunity to assess any additional needs your mother may have. As our parents age, it’s easy to overlook signs that they may need more care.

Providing concierge move services is one of our favorite things to do. Many times, clients want us to relocate them when they are out of town. We spend a day sorting, organizing and packing, then the next day unpacking and resettling them. They arrive home and everything is put away. It’s magic!

How do you downsize from the Greenwich Village home you’ve lived in for 30+ years? You call a move manager/organizer! We spent weeks designing our client’s new Brooklyn apartment, editing and deciding what to bring. We packed her up today. Tomorrow is the big day:moving day! Meanwhile, she checked into a hotel and will arrive at her new home in two days, after we unpack and organize her. All she has to do is put the key in the door and enter her new life. Voila!

I must have had organizing on the mind (or in my algorithm)! This memory just popped into my feed.
