What I love most about building is how it humbles me—forcing me to adapt, stay present, and solve problems as they come. After resawing the altar doors, one panel buckled from moisture release. I tried to save it by wetting and clamping it flat—it worked, but in the process, a small crack deepened. I’ve usually avoided bow ties—they can feel overdone—but this time, it felt right. It wasn’t just decorative; it held the story of the flaw. It was small, so I turned to hand tools, and viola, it came out perfectly.

Last night was a dream come true for us. We got to meet and connect with two of our Top Chef heroes. We felt so moved to be able to experience their extraordinary talents that we wanted to give something of us as well. So, we brought them some of our boards! Thank you both for being so gracious. It was a wonderful evening.

We’ve been working hard to come up with a line of fine furniture product line/gallery style functional pieces. This bar stool encapsulates everything how we make our products.
