Past Lives Studio Past Lives studio is an interior design studio that specializes in the sale of 20th Century Furniture

Past Lives is a Brooklyn-based studio offering interior design services and restored 20th century pieces for the home. We collect, refurbish, and sell furniture and decor made by celebrated makers from around the world. In sourcing for our shop's inventory, we seek the unordinary, and refinish it with the finest attention to craft material. Through the use of custom finishes and bold upholstery, we add our own pizzazz to timeless and historic designs, resulting in one of a kind pieces. Good furniture is an investment, and we believe that investment should last.

We love visiting the Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse — a chance to discover the work of so many talented New York–based interior designers and experience their thoughtful details up close. The spaces are always dynamic, layered, and full of inspiration, and we’re delighted that this year, a few of our pieces get to play a small part.

In Emily Eng Interiors beautiful room, you’ll find a collection of Past Lives Studio objects: our French spiral wall and table mirror, Japanese bronze bud vase, sculptural pewter vase by GAB Sweden, 1960s Finnish cast-glass ashtray by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, and Modernist Sterling silver Gridded Mox.

Emily transformed a small bedroom into a cozy, fabric-draped, tented sanctuary, weaving together Neoclassical ornamentation, French modernism, and the organic functionality of Japanese design. Such a special setting for pieces with stories of their own and we’re so happy to be a part of it! Visit the Bk Showhouse now through November 1st!

Always love seeing our vintage pieces come together in a shoot like this. We were excited to be a featured seller on this shoot with The Expert and collaborate with our showroom partner Studio Nordic. So many great Past Lives pieces made their way into the shoot, styled by JULIA STEVENS.

.studio and are throwing our first SUPER SALE. It’s Spring cleaning time and we’re putting major discounts on decor, lighting, artwork, mirrors and furniture. Whether you’re perusing for your home or shopping for design clients, this will be a rare opportunity to access our inventory collections at SUPER MARKED DOWN PRICES on our site and in person at the showroom. Here’s how our sale will work:

The sale will go live on the .studio website (link in bio, www.pastlives.studio) exclusively for email subscribers on Wednesday March 25th at 10am. The sale will be live to the public on our site starting on Thursday March 26th at 10am.

If you’re local to New York, our sale will be available to shop in person at the Showroom. Come swing by The Showroom on Thursday March 26th 10am - 5pm, Friday March 27th 10am - 5pm, and Saturday March 28th 10am - 5pm. Throughout this time the showroom will be open to the public, stroll right in - no appointment needed. Can’t wait to see you there!
