We sourced James Martin sable finish vanity for our kids bathroom from and paired it with a leathered finish jungle green quartzite from ABC Stone. I wanted to keep this bathroom harmonious so we went with the tone on tone look.

Into the Kids Bathroom we go. The first moment I pulled for this space was my bandana tiles made of waterjet stone mosaic shown in honed Olive Glazed Basalto™ and Thassos. I designed these tiles as part of my collection with New Ravenna. They were the perfect compliment to the bedroom and allowed for the story to continue.
Chrome was my metal choice offering a casual and masculine touch and so our cabinet hardware and faucet are the perfect jewels for the space. I sourced a vintage 1960s space age mirror and flanking them are chrome tubular sconces from

Let’s talk window dressing. Although every project is different I personally gravitate towards a layered window. Here I paired traditional Japanese bamboo Sudare blinds which is my “sheer element” with blackout drapes made in a fabric from my collection with .harris.home. My love for trim runs deep and so I had to top it all off with the Fabricut pom poms.

Pattern playing is always fun and adds visual interest to a space. The drapes were created using a woven fabric from my textile collection with .harris.home . It’s a fun check called “Slim” which offers a more rigid geometric pattern juxtaposed against the more fluid wave in the rug. They connect is through the color.

The perfect complement to our Kids Bedroom, a brushed stainless steel custom floating desk with integrated open shelving. This piece gave me the opportunity to add yet another complimenting material in a cool minimalist way.

The Kids Bedroom started with a rug called “Ripple” that I designed as part of my collaboration with Rug Art. Then came the concrete walls inspired by a Marc Newson image I saw. Designing a room is about layering and building and so these elements drove the initial design and color palette. The wood adds an element of warmth as wood does.
