More Chris Gustin, please! This example from the latest show at the Donzella exhibition space is a crowd favorite. Both strong and light (in appearance), this particular work would be perfect to offset a traditional interior or provide softness to a modernist dream house. The aptly named “Essaim” sculpture by William Lemariey is a fantastic example of minimal materialism in sculpture. The French word “Essaim” means “Swarm” in English and definitely recalls the multitude and movement of a thousand things, and yet it is portrayed with a single wire. Dynamic from every angle, this would be a perfect addition to a room that needs some buzz. It is available now at the gallery and online.

This rare Paul Frankl Console Table with cork insets is not your usual Frank work. The more common and recognizable Frankl works do indeed utilize cork as the foundational tabletop or seat, but this is a refined example. Also, it uses the material as a central elegant detail within a stronger and more classic, almost architectural frame. This was a sustainable design before it was fashionable – and fashionable it is! Feeling nostalgic today? The space may have changed but the atmosphere remains. Our current gallery and exhibition space allows us to keep the language and feeling of Donzella the same while still offering contemporary and vintage designers the chance to shine in a new light. We love to curate and create, and it is possible to do so, in no small part, because of a great environment.

This Max Ingrand chandelier is a worldly piece for a good reason. It is an original that was exhibited at the 1958 Italian Pavilion of the World's Fair in Brussels. The piece shines with no less than 32 lights, all intricately buffered by a galaxy of cut glass, polished enameled brass, and bronze accents. Ingrand is certainly known for his distinct lighting, but this chandelier is a step above! DM or email for more info: [email protected].

Biomorphic design is an evocation of nature, and nowhere is it more evident or organic than in the Rosanne Sniderman sculptural vessels. With a combination of sensuous evolution and traditional recall of pot making, Sniderman bridges a gap of ceramic sculpture and vessel that is as versatile and artistic as any contemporary ceramicist. Come explore the several options in various scales at the gallery today!
