Meet Janaki Ranpura, Fat Cat Fab maker-in-residence!

As maker-in-residence, Janaki’s
project points to another kind of intelligence — cultural intelligence, which sometimes expresses itself as prejudice — as a force that sways how we evaluate the world. Janaki’s work aims to use machines to show how we influence each other via old codes, which are ways of knowing that hold us together socially.

ā€œGenerational Chatterā€ will eventually be a wall installation of talking faces that reacts to people who approach.

Stay tuned for updates on Janaki’s work at FCFL!
