Timeless design with a pinch of whimsy. Designed in Brooklyn and made in Italy by master craftsmen.

We sketch constantly. Most of it never becomes furniture.

The drawing is where the thinking happens — proportion, structure, the angle of a leg before it's ever cut. A boulder one morning that goes nowhere. A side table that, eventually, does.

The MiMi side table is slender, geometric, deliberate — designed in Brooklyn by Italian architect Alessandro Preda, built by master artisans in Italy.

Shown in cobalt blue. Also in canaletto walnut with black accents — the finish in the flat-pack here, where every panel and the cross-brace nest into a single box. Ships flat, assembles in minutes, comes apart and goes back together as many times as life demands.

Serial-numbered. Signed certificate in the box.
Born in Italy. Bred in Brooklyn.

Our MIMI stool supporting the iconic Olivetti Studio 44 typewriter.

Part of the MiMi Series, this minimalist, versatile end table or stool accents the home and office. Clean, faceted geometry and painted surfaces add depth and sophistication while the sessile oak veneer top accommodates your preference for display or seating. These abstract and versatile pieces can be aggregated in clusters to form a coffee table or used as single elements when you need extra seating for your guests.

Carlo Scarpa - Tomba Brion (1970-78)
Altivole-Treviso

Tombs are erected as monuments to those buried beneath them, but they can also be places for people to reflect more generally. In an isolated village cemetery towards the foothills of the Dolomites, Carlo Scarpa composed a mausoleum of such poetic proportions that it communes with all who enter it.

Luis Barragán | Casa Luis Barragán - 1948

Casa Luis Barragán, built in 1948, represents one of the most internationally transcendent works of contemporary architecture, as acknowledged by the UNESCO when included in their 2004 World Heritage list. It is the only individual property in Latin America to have achieved such a distinct honor, being a master piece in the development of the modern movement that merges traditional and vernacular elements, as well as diverse philosophical and artistic currents throughout time, into a new synthesis.
