Thanks for all your support and interest in my work over the past three years. At the end of the month I will be closing down Curry Design LLC to focus building St. Joseph Studio Workshop here in Brooklyn (https://SJSW.org) and on my new position at Tsinghua University, Institute for Future Human Habitats in Shenzhen, CHINA.

UPDATE: Last Spring (2021) I decided to build on the success of Curry Design LLC and morph it into a not-for-profit community design workshop: St. Joseph Studio Workshop (https://SJSW.org). I’m no longer doing work as Curry Design, but SJSW is incorporated as a not-for-profit and open for business providing professional design services and making stuff for community service organizations. We are focusing on Brooklyn for now, but are open to considering project that fit within our mission anywhere.

Also, in late September 2021 I was invited to apply for a position at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. They are starting a new school of Architecture: institute for Future Human Habitats. It’s a very exciting initiative. I’ll be a visiting professor this semester. I loved teaching at Tsinghua in Beijing. I’m looking forward to working with new colleagues and students in Shenzhen.

The Catholic Church, it’s theological beliefs or social teaching, does not align with any political party. Never has.

Pope Francis is not a liberal! (He’s not a conservative either.) Both political parties keep trying to claim Pope Francis but anyone who pays close attention knows that the pope transcends the ideologies of the moment in the United States.
