Art & Design Week in New York felt both electric and overwhelming, with shows and exhibitions spread throughout the city. I’m so glad we made time for it, though. I find it so important to experience investment pieces in person and to build relationships with galleries creating a stronger repertoire to source from.
I especially loved the work of Genesis Belanger, featured at Frieze via . It reminded me of the late , whose work I’ve long admired.
Athena Calderone’s new collection, unveiled at , is a beautiful contemporary interpretation of French Deco. The story behind it, how she drew inspiration from the process of renovating and researching her own personal project, is incredibly inspiring.
Finally, we loved the large scale paintings by partner gallery.
Those are just a few highlights. Exciting to see all the energy behind art and design in New York this year!

Of our many custom vanities, this one consistently elicits the strongest response. Clients reference it often when discussing their own spaces. What was as a practical solution became a happy accident: with a roofline to contend with, fully glazing the wall behind the vanity was the cleanest way to avoid visual disruption. The result was an unexpected sense of weightlessness and a truly floating effect.
I often find the area above a vanity the challenging, as layering hard materials like metal, glass lighting and mirrored frames, lack softness. This mirrored wall solved that tension beautifully. All to say, you can expect to see more floating vanities from us in 2026. ☁️
