Some new followers here. This is my take of when form meets function. The BOARD:01 is my my ambitious marriage of music and furniture thru a lens. When fully utilized, it houses all your components making it the focal point of the room and party. The cantilevered top supports your on a solid surface negating the needle walking. Cabinets doors open on both sides and feature different faces making it a 360 piece. With all the excitement surrounding the opening of Hudson Yards New York, I’d be amiss to not share my contribution. I was commissioned by Related Group to make 3 benches in the esthetic for the spas in the residential building. I really had no set objective when I designed these. Didn’t know if they’d resonate with anyone, and really didn’t care. I chose my materials and let them lead the way. To my surprise, it’s found it’s audience and I’m grateful that this is how I make a living. It’s an honor that something I cooked up ends up in people’s beautiful homes and lives.
