Introducing the Wave Hill Chair, our second outdoor chair and the first made in partnership with Wave Hill.
The chair takes its cues from a garden seat found on the grounds at Wave Hill, a majestic Bronx estate looking across the Hudson toward New Jersey’s Palisades. It descends from Gerrit Rietveld’s 1918 Red and Blue Chair and Lester Collins’ 1960s outdoor adaptation for Innisfree in Millbrook, New York. The design beautifully balances architectural formality with an at-ease posture.
