IMPORTANT message for my fellow New Yorkers:
After advocates fought for 10 long years, the NY Legislature passed a bill earlier this year giving people who are terminally ill the right to end their lives with dignity - the Medical Aid in Dying Act - a right people already have in 11 other states, Washington, DC, and several other countries. But now we need Governor Hochul to sign the bill Into law!
There’s a sign-on letter we’re circulating for individuals, organizations, officials, etc. The letter gives more detail about the issue so I won’t add to the length of this post. It would also be particularly helpful to have people who have a public presence - who are also New Yorkers - to sign the letter. So if you support this measure, please sign it using the link below and also share this post/the link with other New Yorkers. Thank you!

Please take a look at this petition and consider adding your name to it if you think Big Oil companies should help us pay for the damages caused by climate change and all the resiliency projects we need to protect ourselves in the future!

If you think that Big Oil -- and not taxpayers -- should help NYS pay for all the resiliency projects needed and the public health costs incurred because of the climate change they are in large part responsible for, please send this message to Governor Kathy Hochul:
Support the Climate Change Superfund Act
Send a holiday message to Governor Hochul and urge her to protect New York State taxpayers from climate catastrophe costs by including the Climate Change Superfund Act (S.2129A/A.3351A) in her 2024 Executive Budget! New York must address climate crisis costs by putting fiscal fairness and environmen...
