At Notting Hill pub the Cow, the curator connects the dots to Brompton Design District over a spread of oysters, prawns, crab, chicken Kyiv, and a pint of Guinness.
To walk into a space curated by Alex Tieghi-Walker ALEX TIEGHI-WALKER is to enter a new world, one that places the human touch front and center. From culturally rich materials to hand-crafted works, the curator is as invested in storytelling as he is spotlighting works that define a moment. As he brings his vision around the world, he continues to explore what objects speak to today. This inclination has taken him from his TriBeCa gallery, Tiwa Select, back to London where he is curating the Brompton Design District as part of the London Design Festival for the second year in a row. For this year’s theme, “Perfectly Imperfect,” Tieghi-Walker is foregrounding the process and stories behind designs near and dear.
