This is truly a sad time for all music lovers who know WAYNE SHORTER as an iconic jazz musician, but also for his spiritual connection. As Buddhists, we link our ability to intuitively understand what impacts and gives meaning to our lives. SJP will obviously give homage to his music, but his human spirit as well..
Ant if you like Gregory Porter, you'll be crazy not to tune in on the second hour. His smooth baritone took the house down at NJPAC three weeks ago. I enjoy the concert so much, kept yelling from the audience 'We Love You, Gregory." Plus a seat close to the stage, Soul/Jazz Phenom is back on the air after resolving some technical station issues, this Sunday, with your host Cavel Gray FROM 1:00pm - 3:00pm on 90.3 WKRB.ORG.

It is with great sadness that his family announces the death of longtime WKRB on-air personality Ron Forman. For over 950 shows he brought the sweet sounds of classic American pop standards to listeners near and far. It will be hard to hear Frank Sinatra the same way, again. In the meantime, if you are, in the words of our beloved host, so inclined, check out mixcloud and search “Ron Forman” to listen to his amazing shows. He loved WKRB and bringing the music to you all. 💔
