🗣📣‼️ Calling all Artists! 🗣📣‼️

The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 cycle of the Public Artists in Residence (PAIR) program. 

Based on the idea that artists are creative problem-solvers, PAIR embeds artists in City agencies to propose and implement solutions to pressing civic challenges. The residency provides artists with $40,000 in funding, along with access to Materials for the Arts (hey, that’s us! ☺️)supplies for their project! Selected artists will have demonstrated experience in socially engaged art or collaborative art practice addressing social and political issues relevant to the host agency.

The following New York City agencies are each seeking to host a PAIR artist for the 2024-25 cycle: 

⭐️NYC Administration for Children’s Services
⭐️NYC Commission on Human Rights
⭐️NYC Human Resources Administration
⭐️Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice
