🎄 Can a Tiny 7W Laser Really Make Christmas Ornaments Worth Selling? 🤔🔥

I just released a new video on **Wilmer Woodworks**, and this time I'm putting the **Artilume T1 7W foldable laser engraver** to the test!

Instead of just unboxing another laser, I wanted to answer a simple question: Can this compact, affordable machine actually make something good enough to give as a gift or sell at a craft show?

🌴 Living here in Southwest Florida, I decided to make something a little different — a **3-layer tropical Christmas ornament**, complete with palm trees!

🇺🇸 Handmade Wooden American Flags | Come See Me This Saturday!

I've been busy in the workshop getting ready for my first craft fair of the season, and here's one of the projects I'll be bringing!

These rustic wooden American flags are handmade by me right here in Southwest Florida. Each one has its own unique wood grain, giving every flag a slightly different look.

I currently have three of these flags ready to go, along with plenty of other laser-engraved and handcrafted items.

Working with main voltage can be dangerous, but careful wiring ensures safety. This guide covers identifying positive/negative wires and grounding. Always disconnect power and double-check your connections before testing. Protecting curious little hands is also a priority.

I couldn't pinpoint the issue and was just changing parts. This power supply was reasonably priced at $30, making it worth the risk to try it out. Turns out, it was the solution!

The laser machine kept shutting down when it hit a high amperage demand. After suspecting the power supply, replacing it resolved the issue, confirming the diagnosis.

Fired up the new laser with crossed fingers and held my breath—no explosions! Successfully homed and moved the machine. Tested with 20-100% power, and it handled 100% at 6,000mm/min without shutting down. Cut test results are fantastic, much faster than before. Peace of mind knowing it can complete projects!

My laser cutter's power supply started failing after a couple of months, cutting out whenever I pushed it past 80%. Longer sent a replacement, which worked for 6 months before dying again. Now I'm forced to limit its power, making it difficult to cut even thin plywood.
