Arlington Woodworks At Arlington Woodworks, we pride ourselves on crafting premium, 100% organic wood finishes! I did not have the good fortune to study under him in the craft.

Woodworking is has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was a little boy my father would regale me with stories of his fathers accomplishments. Unfortunately my grandfather passed away while I was still a very young lad. I have now forged my own path and along the journey picking up skills necessary to take my woodworking to the next level. What is that next level? Well for me it is changing my focus and prioritizes from that of a hobbyist that makes beautiful pieces for family and friends to a professional woodworker that makes beautiful pieces for everyone to cherish.

After cooking, wood care can start with a quick top-to-bottom wipe of one cabinet section at a time.

Use a barely damp microfiber cloth, then rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry the section right away. That top-to-bottom pass helps keep drips from streaking areas you've already cleaned. Do you usually wipe cabinet fronts after cooking, or save them for a weekly clean?

A pale, tired table with an intact surface may need a non toxic wood furniture restorer that conditions, not a full refinish.

I'm Jesse, founder of Arlington Woodworks. Conditioning can bring back warmth and luster to dry, dull wood. A simple first step. Is your table bare or oil-finished, or are you unsure what finish it has?

After washing a wooden board, a safe wood finish for kitchens needs a little upkeep too.

Penetrating oils and oil-and-wax blends need periodic reapplication to keep the wood cared for. Let the board dry, then refresh its finish as directed. How often do you usually reapply finish to your cutting board?

That dull thrift-store find may need a gentle clean before a full refinish. Wood care starts with a soft, slightly damp cloth; for heavier grime, try a little mild dish soap diluted in water, testing in a hidden spot first. Work in small sections and dry promptly. A careful first step can reveal whether the finish is worth preserving. What kind of residue do you usually find on thrifted furniture?
