Gonna get some of these endgrain honeycomb boards going again. Maybe a little less sapwood in the base for a better contrast. What shapes should I do?

Throwback to one of my first cutting boards in 2015. This cutting board, dubbed “the Zipper”, still lives in my kitchen today. I will be working on some more asymmetric cutting boards soon…

All the chaos/mosiac end grain cutting boards are up in the site, link in bio. This was a good way to use up a ton of scraps that had been accumulating in the shop… Christmas is right around the corner, just sayin’ 😉🎅

Of course… just as I’m getting back into it, branding my first set of boards coming back from hiatus, my branding iron breaks… swipe to see my janky laser engraver setup for engraving the edge of cutting boards in the meanwhile 😂. Gonna try to get the threaded end of the insert out of the branding iron head… and out of the heating element, open to suggestions.
