Dear Customer,
Just like you, I dislike impersonal form letters, but this is actually the most efficient and equitable means to communicate to all of you at the same time.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my gratitude for the trust and loyalty you have shown us over the years – many of you have been a customer for decades. It has been an honor to work with, and for, each of you. I am truly thankful for the relationships that have been built with you all. From the day I established Thoroughbred Alarm Systems 37 years ago, I have strived to provide you all with quality installations and personalized customer service, of which I am proud.
I am writing to inform you that after long consideration, I have made the decision to retire. My entire career has been working in the Alarm industry – starting while in high school in Ocala, during and after college in Atlanta, and eventually moving back home in 1988 to start my own business, Thoroughbred Alarm Systems. This will be a huge change for me, but it is time.
Moving forward, I understand that this news may raise questions and uncertainties. However, I want to assure you that your alarm system was an important concern as I planned for my retirement. I have partnered with Pye-Barker Fire & Safety to assist you with monitoring services, technical support and service work from this point forward.
Founded in 1946 by John Pye and Ben Barker, Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is the nation’s leader in fire protection, life safety and security services. They offer a range of services including fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and security systems (for both residential and commercial locations). Having offices throughout the country, including a local office in Ocala, means that one company can step in to take care of all of our customers, from Tallahassee and Jacksonville to Tampa and coast to coast in between.
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has a great reputation for customer service and I have full confidence that they will uphold the same level of professionalism, expertise and personalized service that you have come to expect from Thoroughbred Alarm Systems.
You can reach the Pye-Barker Fire & Safety team by continuing to use our existing office telephone number, fax number, email address and mailing address. Or:
• call 813-654-3357 for service and emergency calls
• email [email protected] for service
Any outstanding invoices that you have already received from us will need to be paid as usual.
Thank you again for your trust and loyalty over these 37 years. I am truly grateful to have provided services for each and every one of you.
Wishing you all continued success and happiness.
