Barnwood Trays was started in 2012 by Dan Vollmer as a project to upgrade the floors for his wife Joni. After realizing the wood was not quite right for this project, the carpenter in Dan took over and the first tray was created. This is one of 15 panels I have to glue up for five box beams. It’s 19 feet long and the material is the horse fence from the Elkhorn Equestrian Center.

So far with this material, we have done walls, box beams, mantels, base trim and casing, and a few other projects.

If you’re interested in this oak fencing let me know because it’s going fast. I started with 9000 feet. I’m down to about half of that now.

We recently made these custom white Oak floating shelves, including the hidden brackets, and installed them in the customers house. They finished at 1 3/4” thick and just under 48 inches long.
We use Osmo for the finish to give it a natural look.
If this is something you would like in your home, let us know so we can make it happen for you.

Several years back I purchased over 2000 feet of old growth redwood bleachers from Truman State University in Missouri and now I’m down to the last pieces.
I have one sliding door that measures 35 5/8 x 87 1/2 priced at $1200 and would look great in your house.

If interested let me know

When glueing up an 800 # slab it’s best to use your forklift as a “lift table”, it’s much easier on the back.

After we put up two shelves, we asked the homeowner if he needed another shelf. Obviously he had the product for the top shelf.
If you are looking for floating shelves, give us a shout, I’m sure we can help you out.
