Does planet fitness have massage chairs? Do you sell those?
This is a good question from a curious mind. If I am not mistaken, some Planet Fitness locations have commercial massage chairs. You have probably seen similar chairs at the mall, airports, and other public places. Are they massage chairs? Yes. Are they the kind of massage chairs I would recommend i...

Is It Safe to Use a Massage Chair While Pregnant?
This is not the most common question I get asked, but recently we had a few pregnant women visit our showroom with very understandable questions and concerns about using a massage chair during pregnancy.
First of all, congratulations to any family expecting a baby!!
Doctors generally encourage pregnant women to stay active when appropriate. Light exercise, walking, gentle stretching and other pregnancy safe activities can be beneficial. It is not necessarily the old idea of “just sit down and do nothing.” Staying active can help keep the body strong and mobile throughout pregnancy.
I am NOT A DOCTOR. However, after working with massage chairs for years, I can point out a few things that pregnant women should be aware of when trying a massage chair.
After all, I am a doctor of massage chairs. LOL.
First, let’s talk about zero gravity.
Most newer massage chairs put you into a zero gravity position during many of their preset massage programs.
Zero gravity means the chair reclines your body into an inclined position, with your legs elevated. This can feel fantastic and can help take pressure off the body and promote circulation.
But during pregnancy, I would not recommend staying in any deeply reclined or elevated position for a long period of time without first getting approval from your doctor.
This is one of those situations where I would rather be safe than sorry.
Second, be careful with stretching.
Some massage chairs give you what might be the best stretch you have ever experienced. LOL.
Certain chairs can hold your feet and legs while pulling your lower body in one direction and arching your back at the same time. Some advanced chairs with flex tracks can make this stretching sensation even stronger.
For someone who is pregnant, this is not something I would casually recommend.
It can be uncomfortable, and depending on the stage of pregnancy and the individual, certain stretching movements or positions may not be appropriate.
So, can you use a massage chair while pregnant?
This is where I would say ask your doctor first.
Every pregnancy is different. Your doctor knows your pregnancy, your health and any specific concerns that may apply to you.
If your doctor gives you the green light, there are massage chairs that can be used in a much gentler way.
Many newer massage chairs have programs such as Women’s Health or Perineal Care. These programs are generally designed around lower intensity massage, gentler air compression and less aggressive movement.
Some chairs also allow you to manually adjust the massage intensity, air pressure and reclining position, which can make a big difference.
And honestly, I have had pregnant women come into our showroom, try a massage chair and tell me it felt amazing. One customer was so comfortable she almost fell asleep!
But comfort does not automatically mean something is medically appropriate. That is why getting your doctor’s approval comes first.
My advice?
If you are pregnant and thinking about buying a massage chair, do not buy one based on an online description alone.
Come try it.
See how your body feels in the chair. Try different programs. Try different positions. Ask questions.
And most importantly, talk to your doctor before using a massage chair during pregnancy.
We have a private showroom in Orlando where you can take your time and actually experience the chairs instead of guessing from a website.
So if your doctor says it is okay...
Come to 800 John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32808.
Or shop online at LMCOrlando.com.

Your massage chair is starting to get wobbly? Feel unsafe like you're in your massage chair on a roof?
Uh oh.
I told you not to get that $2,000 massage chair from Walmart or Amazon.
I’m just kidding.
Well, kind of.
Seriously though, if your massage chair has suddenly started feeling unstable, loose, or wobbly, there are a few things you should check before assuming the chair is completely broken.
First, Check Underneath the Chair
Yes, I know.
It is super obvious, and you probably already checked.
But do me a favor and check again right now. Just prove me wrong.
Make sure there is nothing underneath the massage chair that could be causing it to sit unevenly. A small object, piece of packaging, rug edge, or anything else underneath the base can make a heavy massage chair feel surprisingly unstable.
If you find something and that fixes the problem, congratulations. You just saved yourself a service call.
If not, let’s continue.
Have You Been Moving the Massage Chair A Lot?
This is actually more common than you might think.
Maybe the wife wants the chair facing the TV.
Then the husband wants it moved a little to the left.
Then someone decides it would look better over there.
Then two weeks later, you move it again.
I get it.
Most massage chairs have several rubber mounts underneath the base. Depending on the model, you will usually find around four to six of them.
If you have been moving the chair around frequently, those rubber mounts can wear out faster than they normally would. The mounting hardware can also loosen or the screw holding the mount in place can spin out.
This is usually going to be a two person job.
Unless you are a professional like me who has been doing this for the last 10 years, please take extra precaution.
Have one person carefully lift the chair while the other person inspects underneath. You can also use something sturdy to help support the chair while checking the mounts. A thick book can work in a pinch, but honestly, use common sense here. A heavy massage chair is not something you want falling on your fingers.
Now Here Is The One We Hope It Is Not
The third thing I would check is the connection between the base and the main frame of the massage chair.
This is where I start crossing my fingers.
The base of the chair is doing a lot of work. There are motors responsible for moving the chair forward and backward, as well as reclining and returning the chair to its upright position. There are also air compressors and other components working underneath the chair.
If the mounting area where the frame connects to the base becomes loose, that is a much bigger issue than a worn rubber mount.
And if your massage chair is only one or two years old and this is happening, this is where I say:
You get what you pay for.
A quality massage chair should be built to handle years of regular use. That does not mean nothing can ever go wrong, but the quality of the frame, motors, mounting points, and overall construction matters a lot.
This is also one of the reasons I always recommend buying from a reputable massage chair showroom instead of simply looking for the cheapest price online.
So What Should You Do?
If your massage chair is wobbling and you cannot figure out why, do not keep using it and hoping the problem disappea ...see more

A quick buyer's guide.
Titan Gemini Massage Chair Review: Is the Low Price Really a Good Deal?
I have been getting a lot of questions about the Titan Gemini massage chair lately.
Interestingly, the Titan Gemini appears to be the same chair that is sold as the Osaki Oasis massage chair, which has also been getting a lot of attention online.
So why are so many people searching for this particular massage chair?
I am going to take a wild guess here and say it has a lot to do with the price.
And I am going to cut right to the chase.
For anybody who has been following my blogs, you already know how I am. I am a straight shooter. I try to be as transparent as possible, and I am not too worried about what kind of backlash I might get when I give my honest opinion about a massage chair.
Why Is the Titan Gemini So Popular?
The biggest reason I believe people are looking at the Titan Gemini and Osaki Oasis is simple.
The price.
When you start shopping for a massage chair, you will quickly realize that prices can get pretty crazy. Once you start looking at 3D and 4D massage chairs with more advanced mechanisms, body scanning, better roller movement and more sophisticated technology, you can easily end up spending several thousand dollars.
Then you see something like the Titan Gemini at a much lower price.
Of course you are going to be curious.
But this is where you need to understand what you are actually buying.
The Massage Mechanism Is the Biggest Difference
The biggest reason for the lower price, in my opinion, is the massage mechanism.
The Gemini uses a 2D massage system.
Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 2D massage chair.
I want to make that clear.
A good 2D massage chair can still feel very good. If you have never owned a massage chair before, you may even be perfectly happy with it.
But you need to understand the difference before spending your money.
A 2D massage mechanism primarily moves the rollers up and down and from side to side.
It does not have the same depth adjustment you get with a 3D or 4D massage mechanism.
That means you have less control over how deeply the rollers push into your muscles.
And for me, this is a pretty important difference.
The Track Is Also Very Basic
The track is another thing I would pay attention to.
The Gemini uses a straight track.
It is not an S Track and it is not an SL Track.
A straight track is one of the most basic track designs you will find in a full body massage chair.
Again, this does not mean the chair is bad.
It simply means you should understand what you are getting.
When you move into higher end massage chairs, you will typically see more advanced track designs that are designed to follow the natural shape of your back and extend farther down the body.
This is one of the reasons I always tell people not to shop for a massage chair based only on the number of airbags, heat functions or the number of automatic programs.
The mechanism and track are extremely important.
What About Massage Intensity?
This is another area where you need to understand the difference between a 2D chair and a 3D or 4D massage chair.
With a 3D or 4D massage chair, the rollers can move toward and away from your body. This allows you to adjust how deeply the rollers massage you.
With a basic 2D mechanism, you do not get that same depth adjustment.
So if you are somebody who likes a very deep massage, or you want to control how aggressively the rollers work into your back, I would strongly recommend trying a 3D or 4D massage chair before making your decision.
This is one of those things that is very difficult to understand by looking at pictures online.
And Here Is My Biggest Concern
This is probably the most important part of this entire article.
You cannot try the chair before you buy it.
The Titan Gemini is primarily sold online.
That means you are making a pretty important purchase without actually sitting in the chair first.
And I have a problem with that.
Not because I think online massage chair sales are bad.
They are not.
But a massage chair is not a television.
You can look at the specifications of a television, compare the picture quality and make a pretty educated decision.
A massage chair is completely different.
Your height, body shape, shoulder width, leg length and personal preference all affect how a massage chair feels.
A chair that feels amazing to one person may feel completely different to another person.
That is why I always recommend trying a massage chair before buying one whenever possible.
So, Should You Buy the Titan Gemini?
Here is my honest answer.
If your biggest priority is finding an inexpensive massage chair and you understand that you are getting a more basic 2D massage system ...see more

What Should You Look for in a Massage Chair for the Office?
Looking for a massage chair for the office? Well, this is a little different from buying one for your home.
You are not necessarily looking for the biggest, most expensive massage chair with every feature imaginable. You want something people will actually use, something that fits the office, and something that can handle more frequent use.
So what should you actually look for?
Size Matters
This is probably one of the biggest things to consider.
Some premium massage chairs are absolutely huge. They look great in a large home, but put one in a small office or break room and suddenly the ...see more

What would be the best gaming massage chairs?
Well, this narrows down the options pretty quickly.
If you are looking for the best massage chair for gaming, especially if you are a PC gamer, you cannot just buy any full size massage chair and expect it to work well with your gaming setup.
Most full size massage chairs are simply too large, too bulky, or not designed for sitting at a desk. They are great for relaxing, but that does not necessarily mean they are great for gaming.
If you are playing on a video game console with a controller, you have a little more flexibility. You can sit back, recline, and enjoy the massage while playing.
PC gaming is a different story.
You are usually sitting at a desk, looking at a monitor, using a keyboard and mouse, and you need to stay in a position where your arms can comfortably reach your setup. That eliminates a lot of traditional massage chairs right away.
So What Is the Best Massage Chair for PC Gaming?
In my opinion, a zero gravity massage recliner or a regular massage recliner is probably the best option for most PC gamers.
This is where something like the Bodyfriend Familie becomes very interesting.
The Familie is compact, lightweight compared to a traditional full size massage chair, and it actually l ...see more
