I know I've been quiet lately, but this year has been a little . . . different. 🤷🏼 Anyhoo, here's the latest big project to come out of the woodshop. It's an armoire for my oldest. Solid heirloom oak with solid red cedar drawers. They smell so good! 😍 Let me know what you think below!

I took a little side quest for an old friend. He had some guitars left to him and they desperately needed a good "go through". They were very dirty, smelly (smoke) 🤮 and had been generally neglected over the years. I bet you didn't know this Old Crow had built a few guitars in the past and has a little luthier experience?🧐
They're definitely not 💯 but they are definitely playable🎸, and (I think) came out really nice🤘.

Since I've finished up all my jobs for the year, I decided to visit another Old Crow🐦‍⬛ (my dad) and help him fiberglass his canoe project 🛶 He's been working on this for a few months now getting the hull all stripped (means built with cedar strips) and now it's time to start finishing the outside and inside with fiberglass and epoxy. It's really looking nice, don't you think? 🤩
The last picture is 3 days after the last coat and he was able to flip it over. Now a lot of sanding and scraping on the inside 💪🏻 then it'll get a sheet of fiberglass and epoxy too.

New kitchen done!🎉💪🏻 This is a remodel in Ottumwa with some beautiful quartz countertops. The customer still has the tile backsplash to put up, but I think the tops look amazing 🤩. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous of that big single-bowl stainless sink 🥰.

Just a little FYI, I do not fabricate stone countertops. The customer purchased these from another vendor and I just installed them 👍

Remember the giant walnut beam/mantle? Well, she's back from the kiln and almost 20lbs lighter! I'm excited to see her in her new home. 👍 🤩
