The Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ice Cream crew ROCKED the Rally in the Alley yesterday. The sparkle stop “aid station”was hosted by BCBC Ice Cream, DJ Mike and the sparkle brigade.

Personally, I believe we brought the most hype to the 1K race. We had sparkle ice cream, great music and dancing. The line to get ice cream went around the block at times. We gave out over 175 ice cream samples in just a couple of hours.

Supporting the community is paramount to the Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ice Cream brand. This event is one of our faves. Thanks to everyone who shared in our shenanigans. We look forward to more fun next year ✨🤘🤩🤘✨

Have you seen this social media campaign that Snoop Dog is doing? He and his son own an ice cream brand called Dr Bombay’s. They are currently looking for an ice cream taste tester to travel the world and find unique flavor combos. I saw this campaign and thought, this is a one stop trip to Ouray Colorado! We at Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ice Cream know we have the best ice cream on the planet. So we have invited Snoop himself to taste what no-churn ice cream is all about. In just five years BCBC Ice Cream has offered 75 different flavors to the public, with an additional 25 dairy free flavors as well. From unique to classic we have the best ice cream you are going to find. Please come and taste for yourself. Plus, I know that we have far more in common than just ice cream. We look forward to hosting you in our beautiful southwest Colorado town.

This weekend Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ice Cream joined the Zumbathon in Montrose CO. The Zumbathon was a fundraiser for Second Chance Humane Society. BCBC Ice Cream supplied ice cream samples to the men and women who participated in the Zumba marathon. Congratulations to everyone who attended and shook it for 3 hours straight. Nice work to the instructors and to the rec center for hosting such a great event. This fundraiser raised $1275 for Second Chance Humane Society 🤘🤩🤘

I was asked to make a BCBC Ice Cream cake and I accepted the challenge. I felt like I was on the show “Nailed It”. I attempted to make a DQ knock off. I learned many hard lessons very quickly. In the end, it was a fun sprinkle explosion that made one birthday boy very happy. The cake was a great way to celebrate the special day with Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ice Cream.

This cake was a super fun challenge to take on. Will I make more cakes?? It was a lot of time and effort. Maybe outside of the summer craziness I could be persuaded.

The Fourth of July holiday weekend was a bit crazy this year. The Gold Mountain Fire loomed over our county but we all did what we could to enjoy the weekend. Thanks to Hami and Pat for hiking this weekend. The flowers were amazing and a perfect distraction from the destruction happening below.
The Gold Mountain Fire is now 3% contained. It is a start. Thanks to all the people keeping us safe out there. Let’s dance for some rain this week!!!

I would say that the 2026 Fourth Of July Parade in Ouray had a solid vibe of fun. The brigade of kids outside of Ouray Mountain Sports was formidable this year. The coordination of attacks were brilliant.

Just before the fire broke out last week, BCBC Ice Cream was messing around the kitchen and two new flavors were created. Check out our two new flavors, Decaf Coffee and Caramel Peanut Butter. The 5oz cups are available at The Gnar and The Ridgway Mountain Market. 16oz cups are being made today and will be available on Friday.
