Repurposed Antiques builds custom and stock tables, bars, and kitchen islands. We use repurposed ant Repurposed Antiques is owned by Dan Meixell.

Dan's work has evolved from making small things while concentrating on the antique business he grew up in and learned from his father. He built a table for a friend twenty years ago that they were searching for but didn't exist. He brought it to fruition for them by using antique materials because they wanted a period piece. Many meals have been enjoyed with friends around that very table.

He then built a stock table and showcased it in his booth in Adamstown, PA. The table sold quickly and started a flourishing business! People enjoy custom repurposed tables, bars, and kitchen islands that they imagine in their spaces. Dan builds everything from farm tables and benches to live edge pieces. Everyone loves to run their hand along them as they walk by. Make your imagination become reality!

In addition to custom projects, Dan sells his work at Angus Antiques in Adamstown, PA and from his workshop in Oxford, PA. He also exhibits at nationwide and local shows, fairs, and festivals. He has landed commercial work at the Creamery in Kennett Square, PA along with most businesses on Third Street in Oxford, PA like Wholly Grounds, Dubarry, Sawmill Grill, Toot Sweets and more!

We’re down here in Round Top, Texas, shifting gears a little to remind everyone that Repurposed Antiques doesn’t just find the good stuff — WE DELIVER IT! 💪

One truck is already here, another is on the way! We’re bringing our stuff down and taking YOUR stuff right to your front door!

We’ve got multiple trucks rolling while some other shippers are still trying to figure out how to wrap a chair! 😂

Furniture, antiques, artwork, gas pumps, neon signs, architectural pieces, and all that weird, wonderful, expensive stuff you probably shouldn’t trust just anyone to move.

We specialize in white-glove, blanket-wrapped transportation. We know how to handle the fragile stuff, the heavy stuff, and the stuff you can’t replace!

We’ve been doing this long enough to know that bubble wrap and a prayer aren’t a shipping strategy! 😂

You buy it. We wrap it. We load it. We deliver it.

And unlike some of the competition, we actually know which end of the furniture goes up! 😎

🚛 ROUND TWO! ANOTHER TRUCKLOAD OF AMAZING FINDS HAS ARRIVED! 🐕🐕

The second truck has rolled in, and we’re unloading even MORE incredible finds here at The Horseshoe in Round Top, Texas!

Check out this amazing pair of antique concrete WHIPPETS! 🐕🐕 These beautiful garden statues were originally designed to stand guard at grand entrances, flank front doorways, or add a little class to someone’s garden.

And apparently, Repurposed Antiques now specializes in transporting concrete! 😂

Because hauling antique furniture, fragile neon signs, and expensive leather Chesterfields just wasn’t heavy enough!

We’ve got another truckload of incredible, unusual, and downright cool stuff hitting the floor. From antique garden pieces and architectural salvage to leather furniture, neon signs, custom lighting, bars, counters, and those one-of-a-kind finds you didn’t know you needed until you saw them!

Leather, Neon, and a Whole Lot of Cool! 🤠🔥

Of course we have LEATHER! And not just any leather. Beautiful leather chaises, classic Chesterfield sofas, leather club chairs, matching pairs of chairs, and plenty of one-of-a-kind pieces!

And how about this incredible BILLIARDS neon? 🎱⚡ Brilliant blue BILLIARDS lettering, glowing yellow neon around the outside of the ball, and flashing white neon surrounding the number one! This one definitely knows how to get your attention!

“Dan, your price is almost TWICE what the other guy quoted me.”

My response?

“No problem at all. Let me know if I can help you in the future“

“But you came highly recommended. You’ve delivered for our friends. We know how you handle things, and we know you’ll get it done.”

Ahhhhhh… there it is.

There will ALWAYS be somebody cheaper.

Somebody with a truck.
Somebody with a trailer.
Somebody whose cousin has a truck AND a trailer. 😂

But does somebody show up with the blankets, straps, equipment, experience—and most importantly, the TIME—to pack it right?

Because that’s where the difference is.

We don’t throw it in the trailer and hope for the best.

We take the time to blanket it right. Wrap it right. Strap it right. Pack it right.

And if something needs a little extra attention, we take the time to make it right.

I’m not trying to win the award for Cheapest Guy on Facebook.

You’re paying for experience.

You’re paying for the right equipment.

You’re paying for someone who understands that an antique, a piece of artwork, a neon sign, or an irreplaceable piece of furniture isn’t just “another load.”

You’re paying for me to answer the phone.

You’re paying for me to show up.

You’re paying for your stuff to be protected.

And when something goes sideways, you’re paying for somebody who says:

“I’ll figure it out.”

…and then actually figures it out.

So yes, sometimes I might be twice the price.

But there’s a reason your friend gave you my number.

Anybody can give you a quote.

I make it happen.

Apparently I was told doing Brimfield AND Dixie in the same week was a bad idea. 😂

Reasons why I do things:
I was told no.
Spite.
Someone told me I couldn’t.
Someone told me I shouldn’t.
I got bored.
I was left unsupervised.
Pure stubbornness.
To prove a point.
Because I said I would.
For the plot.
And sometimes… just to see if I can. 😂

So naturally, after picking up and delivering at Brimfield, Massachusetts, I somehow teleported halfway across the country and landed at the Dixie Gas & Oil Show in Sevierville, Tennessee the SAME WEEK.

I’m here, the truck’s here, and apparently sleep is optional. 🤷‍♂️😂

If you bought it, sold it, or need it moved, give me a shout. Gas pumps, advertising signs, neon, furniture, antiques, smalls, and all the weird cool stuff nobody wants to trust to a cardboard box.

Transportation available throughout the eastern half of the country. Blanket-wrapped, carefully handled, and delivered by somebody stubborn enough to think Brimfield and Dixie in the same week sounded like a reasonable plan.

If it’s cool, we move it. 🚚

We tried to sneak away for a half-day at the beach… but apparently there’s no such thing as a day off when you’re an antique picker! 🌊😂

Of course, I stumbled across this incredible antique bread box. At some point later in its life, someone painted “Salvation Army” on the side, it’s still in amazing condition. It even has wheels! These make fantastic coffee tables because they’re just the right height—and they’re such great conversation pieces.

This one will be making its way to The Horseshoe in Round Top, Texas, for the Fall Antiques & Design Show, October 15–November 1. You’ll find us exhibiting at The Horseshoe every Round Top show, so be sure to stop by and say hello!
