14 dogs and puppies came through our doors today.
Fourteen. In one day. And as you can imagine, we are FULL.
But there was one bit of good news in the middle of a very overwhelming day. ❤️ One of today’s intakes was reclaimed by their family before the day was even over because they had a microchip.
That is exactly why identification matters.
A collar and ID tag, a registered microchip, and keeping your contact information updated can help get your pet home quickly if they ever get lost.
Please check your pets’ tags and microchip information tonight. It could save your family, and it could save a shelter space for a dog who truly has nowhere else to go.
Because right now, we need every space we have.
