Dearest Sander, you've served me well these 14 or so years, faithfully refinishing furniture, making swords for the kids, beautifying cutting boards and so much more. Fare thee well, and meet your successor!

In the process of a little furniture refinishing of late. Sanded off the dark finish on the top, and will be lacquering it. The sides and front were scuff sanded, primed, and painted. We will be building in new shelves in the center cavity and putting in rusted accent panels in the backs of the cavities. Stay tuned for the end result!

We took a $10 dated coffee table and refreshed it a bit through sanding and refinishing! Let us know what you think

And she's finished! Quite pleased with the end result, bright rustic charm is what jumps to mind for me. We finished the top with 8 coats of Minwax clear satin spray lacquer and 3 coats of Kylon Chalky Finish on the base, sanding between layers.

All from reclaimed lumber. Thinking of making a matching coffee table now...
