Hello out there in food truck land! We are going to be spotlighting our members that are still open and operating in some way in the coming weeks.

Our first spotlight is on Philadelphia's Classic, Nick's Roast Beef Food Truck. Nick's trucks are still doing non contact catering and delivery for groups who are still out working during these trying times. Both restaurants in Northeast Philadelphia are still open at Nick's Roast Beef, Cottman Ave. (215) 745-1292 and at Nick's Roast Beef, Woodhaven Rd. (215) 637-5151, for takeout and delivery.

We are doing everything we can to stay safe and keep our businesses alive so we can serve our incredible foods for years to come.

For those of you that didn't see it, Mayor Jim Kenney pocket vetoed the Bill that would have banned food trucks on Market St. on Drexels' Campus. This was a huge win for the PMFA and food trucks as a whole in Philadelphia! The people love us! As long as we operate safely and correctly we shouldn't have to worry about losing vending locations every day! Who is with us???

Tomorrow is a big day at Philadelphia City Council for food trucks particularly on Drexel's campus. We encourage anyone who's available to come to city Hall 4th floor for the council hearing tomorrow at 12:00. Sign the petition if you haven't already!

Drexel wants to evict food trucks from a busy block of Market Street Food trucks would have to move under a bill requested by Drexel that would ban vendors from the block of Market Street between 33rd and 34th streets.

Are you a fan of food trucks in Philadelphia? Here is another example of vendors losing space to actually vend! As of this Thursday, when a new ban is voted on in City Council, there won't be any more trucks or carts on Market Street in front of the Law School or the gym! Sign this petition and share every where you can to help stop more food trucks from being taken off the street!
